Girls' Clothes Needed for LAMB Institute

Attention Teen Girls & Parents of Teen Girls:
St. Aidan's parishioners are preparing for the first trip of 2010 to Honduras and the LAMB Institute. They would like to take with them a number of clothes and shoes in hopes of starting a small boutique where the teenage girls can spend the "points" they earn for doing chores and helping with the little kids.
These girls are teens who are just like you and would love to wear fun, fashionable clothes. They are especially looking for smalls and mediums, mostly tops, slacks, sandals, jeans and skirts.
If you are able to donate any of these items from your closet, please bring them with you to church or EYC on Sunday, February 7. The absolute FINAL day to donate clothes and shoes will be Sunday, February 14.
The girls of San Buena Ventura thank you!

PJ Night Tonight! 1/31/10

Tonight is PJ night, so come dressed in your favorite pajamas!
We'll be making boxes of nighttime items for teens who are removed from their homes and not able to take any belongings with them. Please bring (any combination of:) teen sized pjs (new or gently used), stuffed animals, NEW teen size underwear and/or NEW teen size socks. We will be putting everything into shoe box size boxes, so feel free to bring those, too!

See you at 5pm in The Cottage!
